Russ Cannizzaro is a Master Artist and Designer whose art is found among some of the most prestigious galleries and private, corporate, and museum collections in the world today. In 2014, Russ was selected by the Governor’s office for the State of Arizona to design and create the Christmas Ornaments for our National Christmas Tree in Washington D.C.
In 2016, Russ was selected as the newest artist for Porterfields Fine Art. Porterfields Fine Art is one of the world's leaders in art licensing and exclusively licensed Russ' artwork to Retail and Manufacturers in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. This same year Russ was selected from a world-wide search from over 2000 artists to be the newest artist represented by Exposures International Gallery in Sedona, Arizona. Exposures International Gallery is considered one of the top ten galleries in the United States.
In 2018, Russ launched Russ Cannizzaro Design his own Licensing Agency that now controls and manages all product licensing in North America and the United Kingdom. Russ currently has 31 License Products which include Greeting Card Lines, Holiday Flags, Gift Wrap and Gift Bags, and Christmas products that are sold in top retail locations such as Walmart, Amazon, Ross Stores, and Tuesday Mornings,
Russ also served as the Department Chair for the Fine Arts Department for the Tempe Union High School District (Tempe, Arizona) for twenty one years. During his education career, Russ was the two-time recipient of the City of Tempe's Excellence in Education Award and recipient of the William Heir Scholarship Award. Russ received his Associate Arts Degree from Mesa Community College, his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ottawa University where he graduated with Distinction, and his Masters of Education Degree from Arizona State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Russ is also a sought-after Guest Artist and Destination lecturer for the cruise ship industry working with all 27 cruise lines worldwide. Russ and his beautiful wife Laurie travel extensively completing 107 trips in the last twelve years. It is his travels that inspire his beautiful designs and artwork and exposes him to current trends and direction in his award-winning designs
